Description
Traditional Mug “Raffaellesco”
A golden dragon curls between blue and green scrolls on this Italian coffee mug, the Raffaellesco pattern inspired by the grotesque ornaments Raphael painted in Renaissance palaces. Our painters trace every wing and tendril freehand, so each dragon keeps its own small personality.
Our Traditional mug is the classic straight-sided Deruta mug, shaped and painted by hand in Italian majolica, with a comfortable handle and a generous rim. Choose the 8.5 oz size (250 ml, 3.7 in / 9.5 cm tall) for coffee and cappuccino or the 12 oz size (350 ml, 4.3 in / 11 cm tall) for tea and long coffee. Food safe, lead free, dishwasher and microwave safe: a piece of Italian pottery made to be used every day.
Handmade by MOD Ceramics in Deruta, Italy, and shipped fully insured. We can also reproduce this piece in a different shape or decoration – just get in touch.
